Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

evaluate this specialized bike buy

What would be a good price for this bike.

56cm alloy frame with carbon seat stays & carbon fork, 27-speed, 105/Ultegra, Profile Design Airstryke aerobar with aerodrink bracket, GP4000s, Aspide Tri Gel saddle, fresh tuneup, great condition.

It is a 2005 with about 750 miles on it. It is probably on the small side for my size. I am considering this bike and looking for input, I will have to test ride it later. Having looked at the thread with all those specialized photos makes me want one of my own.

How does this level of bike compare to the trek 1500.

thanks.

I'd pay $650 - $700 locally. We bought a 2005 AL specialized with 105 a couple months ago for $750 with shoes, pedals, computer, bottles, cages, saddle bag, CO2, tube, and a bunch of women's cycling clothes new with tags. The bike had 10 miles on it.

It has performance parity with any other mainstream aluminum bike with 105 components.
