Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am new to the world of leg warmers. I just bought my first pair from REI (they are the Navarro ones) and have only worn them on two rides. Its been raining a lot here and mine are working great. Mine go from my cycling sock tops up to about 4 inches above the bottom of my bibs. They are comfortable and don't move at all while I'm riding.

My PI leg warmers fit the same as your performance leg warmers. Are the knee warmers sized? I have always thought as long as they were snug and underneath the gripper of whatever short/bib you were wearing they were ok. All the way up sounds like they may be too large, but I don't recall knee warmers having sizes. I'm probably wrong about that.

Knee warmers have size. Usually the same as you short size or one step down. Personally, I like knee warmers that are long and come almost to my inseam. Most higher end knee warmers should do this...
Giordana Roubaix are just about the best you can get.
