Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Brad Huff; Jelly Belly rider now

https://www.bradhuffcycling.com/blog/...g-doesnt-suck/

Here's his site.
My first connection to an actual pro rider.

He has signed with the Jelly Belly team for '08.

His girlfriend works at my LBS, thus the connection to the inside stories to come.

Good point!

I'll ask his girlfriend about his schedule and try to get him into the studio some time to do a segment on the show about life as a pro cyclist.

I know he's here quite a bit because she was telling me about how the doping checkers come to HER apartment to find him for random checks.

What a lifestyle....

great news...glad to hear about his new contract. brad wasn't the only victim of the big step that slipstream took with its high-profile signings. as a slipstream fan, i'm excited about the new season but also want to know where rest of the 2007 squad is headed.

meanwhile, check out this hilarious photo of him being cheered on at the tour of mo. time trial...

Most all the Slipstream guys that were trying to balance between road & track were not renewed - Huff, Creed, Friedman.

His crash at the tour of MO was on of the scariest looking crashes I have ever seen.

Hip, does he live in WI?

Thanks. I get a ton of compliments about that on rides but I have to admit I stole the idea from another BF'er.
