Any thoughts about Jamis' SST frames?
Noticed that Quest and Satellite frames now have a slopping top tube.

Is this an improvement over the old design?

A guy at my gym has a jamis and loves it to death. Seriously whenever the road bike talk comes up the first word out of his mouth is jamis. Go test ride one.

You'd think it reduces weight and standover.
The '08 bike has an Ultegra RD over 105 and 31.8mm handlebars over 26.0
Curiously the weight is up .25 lbs but that could have a lot to due with standards as opposed to actual increase.
Sizing is also different, as you would expect.
The real question is:
What color do you like?
What will steel-mongers do to you if you pick compact geometry? Watch your back!
