CarbonLord cranks?
anyone have any luck with Carbon Lord cranks? for the price, they don't seem so bad. are the chain rings crap? given 400-500 retail for Chorus/Record, low 200 doesn't appear to be awful
I tried a search and came up with little, so I guess that should say something
thanks

I'm a little sceptical of a carbon crank for $200. If you want to spend $200, you can probably get a better ALU crank.

That Ultegra crank goes for $152 on pbk: https://probikekit.com/display.php?code=D1090
Free shipping too!!!!!
If you want a carbon crank, try PerformanceBike.com. If you are a member, you can get the Campy Carbon Centaur Crank for $215 plus 10% as in store credit! Much better than the Ultegra IMHO, but for a little more ($250) you can get the BEST crank.....
Dura Ace 7800....

I have owned 2 sets....a standard sized carbon (Campy) and a compact carbon (Campy)
Both....flawless....no issues and the guy was very responsive when I contacted him.....I have had way less luck with a set of FSA cranks that I bought for my girlfriend.....
I would like to point out that now I have a Record UT compact crank now and am completely happy.....but my time with Carbonloards stuff was not bad at all.....
And off the record and I could never get him to admit this BUT my cranks looks just like these....

I am not kidding....every bend....in my opinion they were just unmarked versions of this crank.....
Go to Interbike and you will realize this happens more than you think....

yes you can, although you'll never heard the end of it if you "mix" the two. two of my bikes feature such a set up.

Yes you can... Think of it this way..... If you want a FSA or Truvativ crank, do you have to use FSA or Truvativ components in the drive train**********?
Cranks are cranks. Feel free to mix/match.

I know of him from another forum and the people that have purchased his merchandise have all been happy. I have not purchased from him yet but I plan on it soon.
