Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There is no pic because the this is where the 'taken' part comes in. The point is to have a blog that is not 'girl or bike, which is better'.

Fat, lazy, unemployed, sits on the couch all day. Doesn't clean my house or cook. And spends all my money on MacDonalds and KFC. But she could suck the chrome off a harley exhaust.

My wife has been riding her bike to and from work since she started working... been doing various other rides with me, as well. She wants to be doing 50 mile+ rides with me by next summer.

Oh, and now she's asking when we'll be getting her clipless pedals and cycling shoes.

I've created a monster!

My wife gave me a gift certificate for two grand to go buy a new bike, five years ago...this was before I get back into the bike business...that may have been the last item I bought retail.

No ****... Anyone could have an ugly girl do that for them, but she'd be far from perfect. But the guy that gets a hottie to go out of her way to be nice and thoughtful deserves to be worshipped.

Hmmm, all my wife does is let me buy anything I want and ride any time I want. This week she let me buy a new computrainer and my second Fuji SL1 frameset.

My wife gave me the go ahead on a Fuji SL1 decked out with Record carbon, Charisma carbon wheels, Ritchey carbon WCS seat post, stem, and bars. Plus she let me get an extra set of wheels to train with.

My Beautiful Wife was cool when I wanted my Tarmac and said that I deserved it for working hard. Then her Birthday came around and low and behold she wanted a 2K Pearl necklace. Yes, the jewelry type...

Mine generally lets me get what I want/need to keep this up, and barely rolls her eyes. That is ontop of cooking, cleaning, and taking care of my spawn.
