Whose got Ritchey Streem bars....how much did you tape?
Just built up a bike for my son and put some Streem bars on it. Just wondering who else is using them and how far up the bars did you tape. Seems to me that the tops would be getting pretty thick if taped all the way up. Did any of you stop just past the top bend? Thanks!!!

I have mine taped with 1.5" left before it gets to the stem. I should have just taped them to where you have the clear tape in your second picture. I used Cinelli Gel Cok tape, which is pretty thick to begin with. Next time it is either nothing on the top or a thinner tape altogether.

streem tape up
Guys huge thanks. Love the pic of the C4 that about where I was planning to tape just past the top bend and try to blend the height of the tape and the flatter portion of the bar. Keep those comments and pics coming if you've got a similar bar.

I've got Streem Carbon bars that I wrapped just to the bend. I think that next time I wrap them, I'll wrap further, in order to secure the cable housing. I like the feel of the bare carbon, but the clicking from the housing hitting the bars is kind of annoying. Just my $.02 worth.

I can see leaving the tops tape free if you have carbon bars, you want to show off the bling, but why not tape the tops if they are Al.
