Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Probikekit- how long does shipping take

Just ordered some tires (Michelin Krylion Carbon, based on some good recommendations here) from PBK. Anyone know how long shipping in/to the US takes?

Thanks.

Took 8 days to receive my tires in NY. Pretty impressed, especially for free shipping.

My first order took close to 2 months.....but that was the stateside shippers fault. Once they reshipped my order, i got in NOLA in about a week. Took awhile to get it reshipped tho', and that would be my only complaint. Despite so-so customer service (IMHO...and I am pretty easy goin') I would certainly order from them again.....Unless the dollar continues to tank.

Takes less time to CA, usually no more than 4 days.

I ordered some tyres from PBK and it was only 4 days for delivery to Australia. A few weeks later I ordered some more parts and again it was only 4 days for delivery. I ordered a (bike) computer from a shop in US and it took 2 weeks for delivery via UPS. I think the delay was customs, it wasn't the shop's fault as I received an email advising they had shipped my order the day after I ordered it. Not sure why PBK is so fast.

Thanks, that is a pretty amazing turnaround if they are actually shipped from the UK. I am guessing most of this stuff is actually coming from somewhere in the US.

It's sent out airmail. The jump to the destination continent is fairly quick. It's the time with USPS overland that makes it nearly 10 days for me.

Some orders 1 week, some 2 weeks. I'm never in a rush, so I don't care.
