Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pedalforce Aeroblade

Anyone have a built up pedalforce aeroblade that you could post a pic? Especially if its the 51cm size.....

Also, if you're riding this frame, your thoughts on how you like it would be appreciated!

I'm considering this frame for a TT bike.

Thanks!

Apparently it's the same frame as the Planet-X Stealth Pro.

Quite well regarded and fairly common on the Triathlon and club TT circuit around here.

It's a generic rebadged frame... and can be found from a number of sources....

Here's a link to a Karbona:

https://cgi.ebay.com/2008-KARBONA-Fra...sid=p1638.m118

There's some pics at the bottom of the listing.... I think it's a 54cm though....

EDIT: very expensive though... seen a lot cheaper than that frameset....

I have an aeroblade and and older saber. The aeroblade seems more responsive but does not ride as well as the saber. The aeroblade tracks well and blasts the flats

I have easton TT bars on the aeroblade and they are a little narrow for me affecting the comfort.

Thanks...yeah I've read many posts that have discussed the fact that this is an 'open mould' frame. Pedalforce seems to have the best deal on a frameset, and it sounds like folks here have been pleased with pedalforce on the roadbikes.

I hadn't read many posts from folks who are actually riding this particular frame though.

I believe they just position the top tube at different angles to get the fit....

48cm

Not EXACTLY the same frame (no "shark fins" on seat/chain stays)

51cm:

51cm Karbona on link:

https://www.foromtb.com/showthread.php?t=112999

if you ask me... the large weaves are fugly in the pic... Could be of the flash though.....

This above photo is of the earlier model Planet - X were selling. Definitely not the same frame. It has a slacker seat tube angle.

Plenty of pages with discussions about the XDS-Carbon.com frame https://weightweenies.starbike.com/fo...er=asc&start=0 including a list of companies selling this frame. Also photo heavy with frames/bikes of all sizes including smaller ones.

General comments are that the frame doesn't have the greatest aspect ratios, but a reasonable frame for the price.

Predictor Lotto also used the frame quite a lot. Cadel was the first to use it
