Mavic Cosmic Carbone Pro
Hey, I was wanting to know your guys' opinions on a few wheelsets and the pros and cons of buying deep dish carbon; I've recently come into some insurance money after a car hit me and am looking for a fun way to spend just some of it and thought maybe a nice racing wheelset would be a good place to look.
Ive been considering the Mavic Cosmic Carbone Pros a lot because they seem to be going for really cheap every because they were replaced by the Mavic Cosmic Ultimates. Another set I was looking at was the Easton EC90's or Tempest II; I have been looking at these ones because from what I've heard their carbon rims are really quite durable and that they are just all around fantastic wheels. Another route that I was considering was looking at maybe a pair of Zipps but I'm not sure how the rims would hold up in my roads.
And then a whole other option would be to just let my money sit, but I want to have a little bit of fun with it because this accident (a car hit me on my bike) is going to take close to a year out of my cycling and I just want to give myself a bit of a pat on the back for enduring it.
Anyways, If some of you have experience on any deep dish wheels that I've mentioned or otherwise and really had a lot of fun and noticed a big difference on them then I'd love to hear about it

ive the cosmic pros. the're my racing wheels when its flat. great wheels. noticeably faster than my standard wheels (campy shamal ultras).
occassionally, i'll swap wheels on a fast training day and the difference is noticeable.
funny you should post tho- i was thinking of selling mine, as i dont use then THAT often (and my new TT frame will be in this week, which means i've got to cough up some cash). fresh sew-ups mounted. maybe three races last season and a few training runs. the wheels are perfect.
pm me if your interested.
