Chain cleaner/scrubber recommendation.
With the recent install of a new UltraNarrow chain for my wifes new bike, I decided to use the little hollow master pin that comes with it, instead of some kind of removable master link, like a Connex link. As a result, I can't just pull it off to clean it, and I hate using tons of spray to try and keep it clean.
Which chain cleaner device do y'all recommend that does the best scrubbing job when using a good solvent?

after every ride, drop one drop of your favorite lube in each link (you know, the round part). spin chain backwards for 30 seconds. wipe chain with a paper towel until less dirty than you started. tada!

I've been cleaning chains for years, so I'm not referring to the general lubing. I'm talking about a full cleaning which done every few weeks or so without removal. Normally, I remove it and soak it in solvent, but I don't want to have to do that with this chain, since it uses a more permanent link.
I was really wondering which scrubber y'all prefer.

I've been using the Park Cyclone for a couple of years and has served me very well. Does a very thorough cleaning.

The only issue I've had is with the foam sponge where the chain exits. This piece has deteriorated which I replaced with some similar sponge that I had in the garage.
edit: Damn, great minds think alike!

I used to use a chain scrubber like the park above but find white lighting clean streak easier to use in my apartment. just spray and wipe. https://www.whitelightningco.com/prod...ean-streak.htm

I use the degreaser and brush below. Works very well. I am obsessed with cleaning my chain weekly and wiping/lubing before every ride. It works well enough for me.

This thing cleans the chain very well. But its a huge PITA to use, makes a serious mess, and won't last very long. I've used mine maybe 10 times and the brushes and sponge are worn out and parts are literally falling off of it.
If you must degrease you chain, save yourself a headache and get a chain with a master link.

So you know that you are destroying your chain by soaking it in solvent? This technique was valid ten years ago but contemporary chains only require a wipe down after use and relube once a week.

I think the chain cleaners like the Park pictured above work very well. I have one made by Performance and another, I forget which brand. Yes the sponges wear out pretty quickly but can be replaced easily. The Performance one uses a squeegee made of rubber that looks like it will last long. They can be a little messy, as do not use in your living room but are fine for a basement, garage or of course outside. Just put a rag or newspaper under the drive train and you are good to go. They make cleaning the chain fairly easy and fast. Basically 10 minutes and your done including any cleanup. I got 4000 miles out of my chain using one of these devices about every few months (600 miles).

Dumonde Tech is the lubricant that I use. The instructions recommend cleaning with soap and water and then relube. The lube builds up on the chain and forming a protective coating. Degreasing removes the coating and decreases the protection. Remove the grime but leave the protective coating when you clean.
Actually the instructions recommend only relubing when the chain starts to make noise.
Cleaning and Reapplication:
Reapply Dumonde TechTM BCL when you begin to hear your chain; sound, not appearance, is the best indicator to reapply.
Use soap and water to clean before a reapplication; strong solvents or cleaners
between applications will remove the protective plastic plating.
Allow three applications of Dumonde TechTM BCL to achieve optimum plastic plating.
