Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

you shouldn't have any problems with www.totalcycling.com, but I prefer www.chainreactioncycles.com or www.probikekit.com

I've done some shopping with totalcycling.com over the last 2 two years. Each time i have used them it's been a good Exp.
The people that work the site are a pretty nice group of people to deal with. The ones I have talked with via email seem to go to great lengths to help their customers out. If you see an item that is being sold on their site but happens to be out of stock you can pop off an email to their sales group and let them know you would like to purchase the item from them. I have done this a couple times and each time someone at the site has emailed me notifying me that the item was back in stock.
I've picked up a few odds and ends from them this year.
Early last year I picked up a pair of Sidi 5.5 shoes off their site and about two years back I purchased a few Campagnolo components.

I've bought a lot of clothing and shoes from totalcycling with no problems, shipping options to Australia are a bit expensive though.

Only once but it was for alot of stuff and they got it all right and over to Fla faster than some US based suppliers. No problem.

Though I look at all 3 of these I have always gone with PBK. Shipping is free right now and the most it's been is $15 flat rate to US.

Anyone know if you have to pay duty/tarrif's when purchasing thru Totalcycling? I'm looking at picking up some shoes and was also wondering about shipping - was it reasonable for your purchases?

I like PBK as well - but unfortunately they don't have my size....

Look at the import duty schedule sheet. Some bike items have duty, others don't. But be prepared, because for instance UPS may send you a duty invoice if their waybill is non-descript, that you will have to have removed.

I ordered from them once about four years ago. I actually called them on the phone and they helped answering some shoe questions I had. Good people. I didn't pay any tariffs, either.
