A fine tire. Probably in the top five recommended tires here on BF. Good grip, weight, and wear. Never flatted on these tires, but that is probably luck

That is luck. I used to run them, but they are spendy so I'm now using Specialized S-Works. The Open Corsas have a great ride, they're responsive, and grip is fabulous in the wet. I have heard people say durability is good, but that is not my opinion. A very good tire though.

Plus: Very very fast, superb ride, superb grip. Minus: short but glorious life. If you are looking for a tire that you can put thousands of miles on, you probably want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for a tire with low rolling resistance, great supple ride and great handling and can live with a shorter life span worth a shot. probikekit has good pretty decent prices.

I run them on my race wheels....fantastic tire. but as others have said they don't last that long (1500km or so). the rubino makes for a good training tire...i've gotten many a km from them

I've been pleased could easily get 4,000 miles out of 2 rears and a single front. I'm pushing 200 lbs.

My tire of choice. The knock on these is durability. This is not born out in my experience. I have flatted less with these than with the Michelin Pro race 2's that used to be my main tire.

I ride Vitt OCs and Conti 4000S tires only. OCs are easily one of the best tires out there, period. I ride on rural roads with no shoulders and rarely, if ever, flat my Vitts. The only tire I've ridden that's better is the Deda RS Open Corsa...

excellent tire. i never had a problem with durability. i finally switched to the michelin pro2race. same pressure, toughness, and everything else, but a smoother, more supple ride. the open corsa is my number 2 tire

love them but as others have said, they cut very easily. I have moved to only riding them on dry pavement in hopes of longer wear.

I'd say they are overpriced for what they are. Probably ok for racing, but I use the Pro2 Race for training.

I use them and love them, I get about 2500kms (1500miles) out of them. I rode a 1200k this past summer without a flat or any problems with them whatsoever. I used pro2races before these and felt here was a big difference in rolling resistance.

I'm running the Deda's right now (over 1600 miles on them so far, no flats). Every now and then the Vittoria's go on sale, and I've been tempted to get them as eventual replacements. What are the specific differences between the tires (other than a 20g specc'ed weight difference)?
thanks.
thanks.
