Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

planet-x "rear" rim

Wondering... what is the difference between their "rear" and "front" rims, besides the number of holes? 16 front, 24 rear. Could one use two "rear" for front and rear? (I already have the hubs...)

Thanks!

I'm afraid that with the deep profile/hidden nipples the spoke pattern is prearranged, like with the zipps, 2-cross driveside and radial on the other side (edit: I think!) or something like that. I guess I should shoot them an email.
(Also, just saw they have a forum.) Thanks!

They're really good about answering e-mails from random people asking about their kit.
