Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do weight weenies ever update their listings?

Or even bother adding in user submitted ones? I've added several rims that aren't listed to the gram and they still haven't been added over 2+ months.

I think it's time somebody started a wikipedia type thing for weights.

WW says they are backlogged, but I submitted some things last year and they are still not updated, so I would say that they no longer update their pages!

I've submitted stuff that never makes it to print. You see the NEW tags now and then, but it's never what I submit.

Quite a few of the weights I've come across don't match up to what I later bought either. I'm talking more than 10% difference. In one case it was almost 100% more, vredestein latex tubes weighed 100g but listed @ 53g.

edit: There is a thread over there now about a guy complaining about avid cables he bought based on listed weights coming in weighing over 2x as much.
