Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Max drive side tension on Easton Circuits?

Anybody know the tension specs for drive side tension on a rear Circuit wheel? I bought a bike with this wheelset and went to true up the rear, and the tension is pretty consistently about 170kgf. Seems high, huh?

Easton's website has lots of tech info, but I can't find this little tidbit anywhere.

I've read that Velomax wheels use rather high tension, and I think the Circuit fall into that category, but I couldn't tell you for sure. I believe they will happily email you the specs if you ask, though.
