Help ID a Trek 1200
A friend of mine wants to buy this bike. He was asking what year I thought it was. I don't have a clue after searching the Trek archives. Anyone have an idea?

I think that is very late 90's. 1999?
Found this
https://x-stream.fortunecity.com/davi...g/bikepics.htm
Which shows it to be a 2001 model

$675 is a ludicrous price for that bike. Your friend could get a brand new entry level Trek road bike for almost that much. In fact, in 2005 I bought a 2004 Trek 1200 I got the bike brand new for just over $700 if that puts things in perspective.
