Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I live in San Diego so their shop is about 20-25 minutes north of me. I’ve gotten wheels built by them in the past and they have stayed true for a really long time. You should call them to make sure they have the item you’re ordering to make sure they ACTUALLY HAVE IT in stock. I’ve dealt with them a couple of times over the last few years and have nothing negative to say about them. Everyone is pretty knowledgeable in regards to the products they sell, order away!

they stock what most other LBS stock, so much of what see on their site is NOT in stock. Also, if you place an order doesn't mean you will actually get it. I think I still have an order from 6 months ago that is still waiting for a can of glue to come in.

Actually they stock NOTHING. Take a look at their shipping times.. everything is 4-5 day of of handling time.. that is because they drop ship everything. The Beyond Bikes shop in San Diego is actually a store front by another name and they run Beyond Bikes out of the same spaces.

I am not saying this a bad thing.. They did have the best prices on some bottle cages I wanted a couple of years ago,, and they showed up when they said they would. Just dont try and return anything. Because they dont actually stock anything they dont want to take anything back.

I ordered a seatpost from them online - best price I could find. It arrived when they said it would, billing was correct, etc.

I've ordered 2 itmes from them on-line. Both were marked as in stock when actually they were not. Both items were back ordered and I was given a new ship date, two weeks after that ship date I got a phone call about my items and the ship date was again pushed back-thats when I cancelled the order. That is my experience with them. I will never order from them again, to risky, besides, there prices are not that great anyway. Good Luck

Bought a pair of Sidi Genius 5.5's from them last year. The shipping was a little slow, but they were nearly 100 bucks cheaper than any other site, and 150 less than the LBS.

I've bought a couple small things from them in the past without any issue. They had some hard to find items I needed. One of those times they said in stock but it wasn't - they still got what I ordered and shipped it out fairly quickly.

I ordered something from them a couple years ago and have been bombarded with their junk e-mails ever since.

I have shopped with them for years they are actually owned by a company called beyond outdoors and have other sport product lines as well, much like performance bike did 10 years ago. they do drop ship items but I have never had any problems and customer service is good, they respond to calls/emails quickly. I always give them a look when I'm in the market for something.
