Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Aero Helment

Does anyone know where I can get some Aero Helmet test? I was just wondering how my Rudy Super Comp compaired to the more popular LG and Giro.

A guy called Xav on Tritalk.co.uk did a fairly extensive test. Don't know if he did the Rudy ones.

And Helmet dear boy!

I saw some numbers from John Cobb that put the Rudy in the middle between the LG Rocket and a normal road helmet. The numbers were probably posted on forum.slowtwitch.com if you search around.

be careful, as i dont think the numbers you will find mean a heck of a lot.

the helmet is part of the whole. one helmet might be better for one persons position, while a different "helment" will favor anothers.

if it were as easy as referencing a spread sheet- we'd all wear the same helmet and there wouldnt be 8+ companies designing, marketing, and producing these things.
