Is this frame dented?
I can not tell if this is a dent/crease in this tube or if it is just where the junction of the tubes is. Can anyone help? Thanks. PS You can click on the photo for a larger view.

I'm not so sure. Could be the light reflecting at an odd angle off of the weld.

Something doesn't look right. Another view or 2 would be good. I looks as though too much weld was ground away at the downtube, but it's hard to say from here. What does it feel like when you run your finger over it ?
EDIT:
Well, no point in spending much time sitting around guessing

It certainly is an odd place for a dent, if it is one.

As others have said; it could be from the welded joint. It it were a dent, then it would probably be hard to turn the handlebars.....

Not Cannondales best work, but hard to tell. Drop the fork out and look at the inside of the head tube.

For that to be weld that would have to be a HUGE weld. I say dent, although an odd one. You would not however necissarily bind the steer tube with a dent like that.

Odd lighting and standard Cannondale weld. The "dent" is exactly where the weld is, not to mention the difficulty in denting a headtube in that location. If your interested in purchasing the frame and worried, ask for more photographs to clarify the frames condition.
