Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Let us know how well it works. I could use another pair of 8 panel shorts, but it's not worth $1 if it can't provide proper padding for 4+ hours.

Just get the Performance top of the line shorts. Cheap and there's one in Pasadena. The tall white guy always takes back return no questioned asked. He even seems enthusiastic like I'm buying a 5k bike instead of returning something.

Yeah they're nice there and I have a set of those shorts. The waist is a little low, though, exposing a little bare back with race cut jerseys. I should just start switching to bibs.
