Roadie socks with padded toes

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Roadie socks with padded toes

Hey Everyone

Does anyone have any brand/product name recommendations for cycling socks that have padded toes?
Last summer I developed a sore on the top of one of my toes (painful!) because my I had a bit too much play in that area of the shoe. Too bad cause I feel great in them.

Padded heel isn't needed, just the toes.

Thanks in advance and looking forward to another great summer for cycling.

Mike

You must store your shoes 500 feet from the house.

I know this anathema to most cyclists, but you can find a good selection of padded socks at running stores.

I've always worn wear SockGuy and DeFeet socks. Both have padded toes. In fact, I didn't know there were cycling socks without padded toes,

For what purpose are you looking for padded toes? Is it because you want to minimize vibration pains? Or get rid of blistering?

I want to eliminate blistering on top of the toes... it's really painful when you get blister there.

I really like Bridgedales light trekking socks. They do have a slightly padded heel, but the front padding is great. If you get the woolen ones, they are warm in winter and coolish in summer.
