I bought an '06 Specialized Allez Tripple in November '06. I think the '07s were already out, but I am not sure. I paid $770. Prices have gone up since. I would think you might be paying more than $550, maybe $650-700, but I am just guessing.

Another guess for you.. I bought an '08 specialized allez elite for what I assume was a good deal for $1050... msrp at about $1400. Hope that gives you something to compare it by. I know that new the Allez Double MSRP for like... $700, if you're talking about the non "Elite" or whatever they were called for that time (no carbon parts) So around $550-$650 is my guess. Could be way wrong, though.

KidTruth,
I forgot the Allez comes in several variations. I should say mine is the Sport model. It has a carbon seat post and carbon fork with an aluminum frame. Most of the stuff on it is 105. The front derailleur is a Tiagra. The cranks are Sugino. Equipment makes a difference in the price.

what Allez double is it? If it just the regular double without the carbon seatstays then voltmans quote should be accurate.

I bought an 07 Allez double last October for ~675. By now, they are really hurting for space, I agree with $550 max.
