Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New wheels, new casette, new chain?

I have just purchased some new racing wheels, I plan on adding a Dura Ace casette to my racing wheels. Theres one problem; I am running a full Ultegra set, would this be incompatible? If so, would I have to purchase a new ultegra/DA chain to go with this new casette?

Tried searching the forums with no luck. Hope you can help

Awesome, OK thanks for your advice

Would you suggest getting a new chain to compensate for the new casette? or can the old chain be used with the new casette?

New casette=new chain. Unless the old one has very few miles on it.

IMHO it is chain time no matter if you swap a cassette or not. Just normal routine maintanance.
