A new old bike...
Finished up the redo on the old Roubaixs for my wife and I. We swapped out the triple crank for a double, swapped out the front derailluer and added some clip on fenders. These bikes are primarily used over the winter on the trainer and will now see some crap weather duty.
I have to once again give props to 'AEO' for coming through with some 170 cranks for my wife after a slight mix-up on an ebay purchase...I guess some people can't read the crank size stamped on their cranks...

Now to get these babies out on the road again!

good work. those fenders look like a pain in the ass to install. the bike probably won't look so pretty once it starts its crap weather duty, but oh well

Actually the fender weren't too bad to do. Only problem is they are clip ons and are held on by rubber straps and zip ties at the seat stays/fork. Not sure how well it will work out once the bike starts bouncing around on the pot hole riddled roads around here. I have a feeling things will start moving and rubbing. The next step may involve a more permanently mounted solution...

Congrats on the overhauls. I'm working on freshening up my mid-90's Specialized Allez Sport that has precisely one Specialized logo on it. Ah those were the days.
