Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am ordering two. I figure carbon wrapped Ti has to be better than either material alone. ;-)

I've ordered two - but they're both going on one bike. Hopefully it should increase the vertical compliance. Ride report coming soon.

It's already April 1 in Aus, where that originates. The rest of their stories for Apr. 1 are worth a read too, particularly the TTT relay!

Ha-ha! The more I read that the more I though two things. First my Steel Raleigh could surely benefit from some carbon wrap, and secondly, it looks like all those Shimano riders who want carbon parts will finally get their wish, however, with a little diy. Eventually I read far enough to catch the weight drop and hit myself right then and there for being so damn gullible! Very nice! I also like their second article, with name restrictions and the T.T. idea.

I am still praying they run this story again on April 2nd. This would be the best thing to hit the tour since Eddie Merckx.
