Helmets - between two sizes
Hi,
I just measured my head - came out to 59 cm . . . right between a medium and a large. Which size would be better?
Thanks.

And another quick question: does anyone know of any websites that show all the usual helmets being *worn?* Would be easier to pick if I could see what they looked like on a noggin.

why not just go to your lbs and try them on???
My head didn't like bell helmets but it loved the way giro's fit.
Lazer's are pretty adjustable too and comfy.
Stop measuring your head and just try them on

Different brands size differently. One brand could be M = 55-59 and L = 59-63... another's large could be 57-60 (like specialized).

I'd prefer the larger one if it has several foam pads to keep it a little bit off of the skull. Cooling ventilation you know. A tighter one might give better crash protection but would be so uncomfortable I'd only wear it if I had no other choice.

go with the bigger one, you can wear a cap, helmet balaclava and other stuff underneath it.

Not much choice locally - I'm hoping to buy online.

Bigger, for the reasons mentioned above.
