Madonna del Ghisallo that is.
https://www.trentobike.org/Countries/..._Ghisallo.html
I leave for Italy on Friday the ninth. I will spend a week in a small Villa in Tuscany. Then we go to a hotel on Lake Como for 3 days. I should get more riding time in Tuscany, as my M-in-law and Niece will be there to distract my Wife and Daughter.
I can't resist going to the church. I hope to get the chance to ride into the Swiss Alps. Switzerland is only about 20K from the western shore of the lake.
Anyone with any riding time in the Provinces of Como or Arezzo?
Tips???

So where do I get in line?
I know it's wrong...but something about a certain level of sluttiness has it's own kind of attraction.
Gawd...what's wrong with me...

There are some excellent restaurants in Como. Il Pomodorino in the town is excellent, as is Cacciatore in Brunate - at the top of the funicular (which is an excellent thing to do off the bike)
The bit of Switzerland there is, in all honesty, not terribly interesting when compared to the lakes. The lakes are /spectacular/ though. Really awesome.

In Tuscany, we are staying in Cortona. In Como we are staying in Tremezzo (sp?) just across the western leg from Bellago. I plan on taking the ferry arcoss and riding up from Bellago.
I am waiting on my new bike from Bilenky. It was to be finished about two weeks ago but there was a delay. Anyway the frame is now painted and I'm told the build up will be finished on Tuesday. I went with a compact double. I was planning on doing Mt. Ventoux next year for my 50th B'day, but with the USD in the toilet, that may have to wait.
Thanks for the tip on the funiculare. We will do it. It looks awe inspiring. I guess I'll skip Switzerland and ride the lake.
