Group Rides (or Training Races): Harrisburg PA & DC Area
I'm looking for group ride schedules or possible races for Harrisburg and DC (west side, Vienna VA area and/or MD).
I will be in Vienna Monday (5/5/08) and Tuesday. Then Harrisburg Tuesday eve and Wednesday.
The only schedule that I've found for the Harrisburg area is from the Harrisburg Bicycle Club (https://harrisburgbicycleclub.org/ind...lpro&Itemid=27). They list a couple of B rides for Tuesday eve which I may try to catch. Also, I wondered what else was available in Harrisburg because I seem to be making a couple trips a month to the area.
If I can't get to Harrisburg by 6pm, I thought that I would try to catch something near Vienna or somewhere in between.
I cross posted this to the regional section but I'm not sure how much traffic it gets. I'm also a little pressed with the time for responses. I know.... I'm a bad forum member for it.
Thanks in advance.

If you're going to be in that area a couple times a month, look into the Penn State Harrisburg Criterium. It's later in the summer (June or July?), but should be a fun race. I do not think it's a Monday or Tuesday, but it might be worth planning around. Plus, nothing wrong with supporting Penn State Cycling (well, I guess Penn State + Cycling doesn't equal Penn State Cycling, but close enough).

It's a little late, if you're the area again try
Hagerstown, MD:
https://www.bikecvcc.com/
or
Frederick, MD:
https://frederickpedalers.org/
Both clubs offer weekly scheduled rides and are about an hour or so from Harrisburg, PA. Not sure which way you take, but you may drive through either city on the way.
