Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

lol me too. I have kits I didn't finish from middle/high school (I basically stopped when I started riding at 14 yrs old) and I still have all the various stuff, knives, paint, brushes, air brush, even spare parts taken off of bad models for added realism. I got new paint a little while back but they're probably all dried out again. If/when we move into a house, one of the things I'd like to do is set up a work bench for that.

Oh, and slot cars too.

I take it you're single, or you've learned to do without sleep?

Could be just that the poster has no kids. My schedule is similar. More hiking, but similar and I am married with no children.

With such a schedule it's no wonder there are no children. Nobody's got time to exchange body fluids in such a case.

long walks through the city

present:

flatland bmx (most of my free time)
drinking beer straight from the can

Actually, time for that is one of the biggest benefits of being child-free

Wow, who knew we had so many other interests? For me, Sunday night mens hockey, running and that god forsaken game of golf. Oh yeah, I have a hell of a garden started again this Spring. Last year over 500 tomatoes, I made lots of salsa.

Common misconception. Kids are more fun than all of those combined.
