Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm guessing I've got somewhere in the neighbourhood of 40-50. I'd have to count.

I've been accumulating since 1991.

Let's just pull down our bibs and take a 12" ruler. Less for some of you.

You might want to check on ebay prices, some of those vintage jerseys sell for as much as a new one.
And you win, I only have something like 15 or 20 jerseys.

Wow, I'm almost ashamed to be here. Have about 10 or 11, and that too only because 5-6 don't fit me any more.

I have three, and they're basically all the same (solid blue with nothing on them).

I've got about fifteen, maybe twenty. But realistically only about five are in the rotation.

The answer is 43. I just counted them as I packed them to put into storage for the next 8 months or so.

43 jerseys, plus a bunch of other tops I use for cycling purposes.

I used to have one short-sleeve and one long-sleeve, but the short-sleeve is now 7 years old and stained with chain grease to the point that the grease does not come off in a washing machine any more. And I was headed for an organized century and I didn't want to wear a red jersey with blue bar tape. So I gave in and purchased one more. So now I have 3.
