Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How are the rims and fork? Lord knows I don't need a mountain bike in NYC but god I want one.

I've ridden it in the woods 4-5x. Fork is fine (after I got the air pressure dialed in it was great), rims are fine, the bike is fantastic. By far the best hard tail I've ever ridden. Light, nimble, comfortable, fast, etc.

For the sake of humanity break out the cassette tool and remove the plastic dish nestled between your large cog and spokes.

Otherwise very pretty bike.

Sounds like someone trying to justify paying more money for what is basically the same bike.

Although, if that wasn't a human motivator half of this forum would disappear.
