Any geometry experts out there?
I am looking at some flat bar road bikes to use for commuting duty. I am looking at a GT Transeo. I am not good with bike geometry. Could someone look at the geometry of my current bike and tell me which size Transeo is the closest?
Current bike: 56cm
https://www.feltracing.com/05/2005_bi...o/f80_geo.html
click on felt bicycles....Click on support......click 2005 felt website....click roadbikes......f80 is the model.....geometry is at the bottom
Transeo:

Hover mouse over bikes and select "fitness/commuter" the bike is a 2008 Transeo 4.0

OK I had a quick look for you. IF the figures on the GT bicycles site are correct then the small frame is the go and even then its slightly LARGER than your current 56 cm Felt because it has the same 56 cm top tube but with a steeper seat tube angle of 74º vs 73.5º on your current bike.
I'm not sure about GT's published geometry. There are a couple of things that make me think that its wrong so you really should try them before you buy. Based on the published figures you should start with a small.
Regards, Anthony
