Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fitting question

I lowered the handle bar about 1/2 - 3/4". Am I likely going to have to make any other adjustments to compensate?

Thanks!

That is a big change. I have been experimenting with .5cm changes at a time. You may need a shorter stem, if you are now too stretched out. Make sure you are comfortable with the amount of drop first though.

Or move the seat forward. It depends why you made the adjustment in the first place.

I think it's more a question on flexibility than fit. Were you sore anywhere after a ride?

Change your medical plan. That is a huge drop too quick. .5 of a drop gave me numbness down my left arm from my shoulder and lasted weeks.
