Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Quadriceps Tendinitis

Has anyone had this before? Is it "curable," or is it a death knell for long daily commute/rides?

I obviously was diagnosed, but they called it "tendonopathy," which is apparently the cooler, hipper word that PTs are using lately.

I'll just keep icing it and see what happens. I was just wondering if this was common for cyclists and how anyone deals with it.
