Gommitalia Calypso K vs. Panaracer Pasela vs. Conti GP4000

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Gommitalia Calypso K vs. Panaracer Pasela vs. Conti GP4000

I'm looking to buy some tan skinwall/gumwall tires. I'll be using these for city riding and the occasional long distance effort. I've heard good things about each, but I'm still pretty uneducated regarding each tire's strengths and weaknesses.

I'm looking for durability above all, but don't want something that won't be comfortable/has a lot of rolling resistance. So far, I've got my eye on the Gommilatia's.

Wrong choices for "city" riding

Which Gommitalia? I assume you are talking about 23c tires? Why would you want such a sknny tire for "city" riding and durability?

All three tires are good -- the conti IMO probably has the lowest rolling resistance, the pasela is the comfy-est, and the Gommitalia is the liveliest. In your case, I'd go conti... but why so narrow for city?
