Your saddle has a tumor on its back end. You should get that looked at.

+1, only modest suggestion would be remove the Garmin for photos. It looks like a brick on that bike.

    Hi lohump,

Hot. The pictures don't do these bikes justice. I know because I've seen both of them in person.
    Thanks.

Actually I think both are kind of hot. The Scatante is what it is, but it looks like it is very well set up. Aggressive saddle to bar height, and nice touch with the red saddle, cables, and hoods. Looks like a very competent ride.

thanks. the frameset was a graduation gift (2004) from my father. i had a full build group but no frame. at the time he was very ill and unemployed due to said health conditions. i want to upgrade it, but dont have the heart to. it may just be a scattante, but it is my scattante.

the tommasini frameset was actually a gift (2010) from him as well. he has owned it since new (1996) but never recovered well enough to ride again.

Sometimes the story makes the bike, and not the other way around. Both are hot then and I wouldn't change a thing.

This bike would be hot but the saddle kind of gets in the way. Also something awkward looking about the stem and handlebars - might just be the camera angle.

Yeah, they used to do that (but I thought it wasn't common practice in the 80's). You can still buy those cages actually.

Yes. No braze-ons on the seat tube, so I had to put it someplace. I live in south Louisiana where two bottles are practically a necessity on anything but the shortest of rides. Good place for an MP3 on trainer workouts.

Yea that's what everyone says about the saddle. It seems that I have to succumb to peer pressure and get a Selle Italia Kit Carbonio Flow. Thank God for christmas!

I like it. Very clean looking. Bars seem to be at an odd angle (for me at least).

That frame looks very similar to the Scattante CFR ('08/'09) / Pedalforce ZX3.

Does it have an ADK label on the bottom bracket?

None that I'm aware of, just the serial#. I'll have to look to be sure though.

Have you been fitted to your bike? The saddle looks very pushed up.

You might want to consider a zero setback post if that is your correct fit.

Some of the adjustments have changed since that pic. That was taken recently after I purchased the bike. I
have since had the bike fitted at the lbs.

I was gonna say, the Saddle also look low, as if maybe the frame is too big. But that's most likely it looks way better now..
