$600 Performance Bike bike I've ridden the piss out of and thus needed several replacements (upgrades) over the years. Just brought it in from a little cleaning and futzing with crappy tektro front brakes that haven't been opening on their own well. All good now though.

tear me a new one =)

Got cygolite and rear light moutned since doing a lot of late PM riding.

    It's hot.

Much like shoes... looks great as a size 10 but loses its appeal when they bring out a size 14. They do seem to loose something when your looking at a XXL/61cm frame.

im not sure what you are complaining about. the way i see it, the title covers hot all the way down to not... if you dont like it, say so (and be constructive with your feedback)

    edit:

this is for all the complainers. Merry Christmas.

Hot Epic! I used to have one very much like that. I've only seen one other in person.

Sorry, not hot. I'm sure it'll be a great bike to ride though.

Mean people are like slinkys. They're really not worth much but still are rather entertaining to watch tumble down the stairs.

I said something similar a while back when I posted mine. There is something of an expectation or standard around size. I get the sense that the "perfect" size for appearance sake is about a 56, a 54 or a 58 are ok, but outside of that and something just looks off.

It's size discrimination. Cycling is elitist.

    Here's mine again... it's a 61 and it is a Scattante.

I disagree. Black tires and you move into the HOT section.

Simple is sometimes better than lots of overdone bling..This bike is a good example..If I saw this bike pass me ( which most do) I would think the rider was ol school..

Yea, I get it on the tires, it's a little much. The white ones were on sale at PBK and I wanted to try Pro3s. It was a bit of a fashion risk that didn't end all that well.

I got some black ones on sale a couple weeks ago ("recent purchases") and just need to finish those off.

    2010 Ridley Compact
    SRAM Rival
    Fizik Arione CX saddle
Ritchey WCS seatpost and Classic bars
    PRO Vibe 7S stem
    Ksyrium Elite wheel set

I removed all of the components from my BMC (damaged in an accident) and built up the Ridley. This was my first build so I learned a lot from the experience and had a good time doing it.

Nice bike there jorge. I love the visual appeal of the design of that frame. It looks good with rival, would probably look ridiculous with RED. I see the Kysriums around a lot now. Are they really that decent?

Thanks. Ksyriums are good all around wheels and serve my purposes really well, so if you can snag a pair for cheap I recommend them since they're pretty bulletproof and relatively light.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, but I've swapped the seatpost collar and stem now
