The point is having your hoods lower than your bars to rest your wrists on them with your hands on the hoods as seen in my pic. His bars are shaped totally different than mine, but we both accomplish that similar position on the hoods. I am not going to talk about it anymore, for this is the "hot or not" thread not the "critique my hood placement" thread.

Mean people are like slinkys. They're really not worth much but still are rather entertaining to watch tumble down the stairs.

Williams System 58mm Carbon Clinchers (anyone try swiss stop pads with these wheels, the breaking seems weak with the shipped break pads)

I really like CR1s and this would be so hot without the bag, bottles, and with new, clean handlebar tape.

Hot! The grey bar tape accents the crankset nicely..
I had the same problem with my Williams 58's..hard to BRAKE!

they're not really grey they're just dirty. I was getting my fork cut yesterday at the LBS and getting the stem as well. Labor was free so i couldn't really gripe about getting dirt on the tape. Oh yeah wheels came in about 3 hours ago . I have some Fizik handlebar tape but I have been too lazy to put it on. I'm getting a pretty good deal on the full RED upgrade ($1600), so i was gonna hold off on retaping the bars until after that since it might happen sooner than i originally budgeted.

The only thing IMO that would put your rig over the top is a SRM crank. Then every area of the bike is full on drool....

Can I say hot with the Black seatpost? I fully expect the blue to look good in real life, but I'm a sucker for (where yuo can) matching components to frames.

Thanks, I am still kinda holding out for the Vector, or I may just go with a PT. Just to keep the weight down in the current form, so race spec would stay light. I just weighed my chainrings. The big ring is stupid heavy. 98g for the Stronglite 50t, and 29g for the Extrlite 34t. A KCNC ring should be 85g for the big one. I doubt I will find a lighter small ring. Most are in the 30s. So do you guys like the chopped rings? Should save me 13g with the KCNC big ring.

No way Rotor cranks are mad heavy.

No, I would race w/o it anyway so a PT or a Vector would be the ticket so I don't have to change the spider.

SA, the only thing I don't really care for is the aesthetic of the KCNC ring. A black chain would look pretty cool too.

Oops, took a closer look at your post, and it's a chop. I wouldn't get those rings if I were you.

Yeah I wish the logos were not so obnoxious. I am thinking of that or Fibre-Lyte aero rings. I am afraid of their lifespan however.

I hear ya. I saw your other post in the ww thread too. I personally think those aero rings look kinda goofy, and I've wondered about longevity of the carbon teef and how smood the shifting would be. There are some things worth a couple extra grams to me, so I guess I'm not a WW!

Yeah, IDK. I like aero rings, just not sure if I like the KCNC logos. I need some new rings though, my gold Extralite small ring annoys me.

Love the new S2. Hot! KCNC chainrings? Not. Too garish.
