It is always nice to know someone from local on a web forums, I ride alone the coast line, great highway, embarcadero from Giants stadium to pier 39 then all the way to Fort Mason, mostly flat terrain, I am not that strong, just got into Cycling a year ago.

Nice build...what's the weight on that? Too bad you couldn't go with the 16 spoke front. ;) Campy would've looked a lot better on that build but no need to start a holy war. :)

6.43 kg. I probably going to get a M3 THM crank. I had pf30 installed. I just ran out of money Mr. Crumpton doesn't take credit cards so it took me some serious clamping down to get enough funds. Well it was my dream bike and glad you people like it. He shot for his website if you want to look at professional photos of it. It's under sl and is photo 2,3,4

like vittoria corsa cx as a baseline "nice" tire. better would be Veloflex or FMB Silk. My tubular of choice these days is either a corsa cx or pave cx (I prefer a little bit of a wider tire)

You forgot the deduction for the squid attached to the bottom bracket! I say it's at roughly 100-105deg. Capable of being in the 125-130deg range with Super Record, or Red with a Lightning/AX/Zipp/or THM crankset, and KCNC, or EE brakes. Which would make it the hottest bike on all of BF.

The wife got me a set of Zipps for xmass

I saw an Ultegra crankset in all black today. It looks quite a bit better and less squidly in all black.

Such a bike calls for something like a Clavicula crank. That would get a perfect 10/10 to me.

So wait....you have $5,000 wheels and think $1,200 for a crankset is alot?

I saw your pictures on the trainer, you are a big dude, athlete type with perfect body proportion for cycling, I can tell you will put some good usages into that crankset, $1200 is well worth it, I am sure it will make your already bad ass S2 even HOTTER.:thumb:
