^^^ Best Parlee I've seen so far. HOT.

bianchi10 03-14-13 02:37 PM

Any comments about the farsport wheels yet?

gc3 03-14-13 02:43 PM

Not enough riding done yet to report out. Just got them finished and home last night. They did build up nice and round to 1263 grams FWIW.

Sweet. But..... why not have the stem, bars and seatpost of the same brand?

gc3 03-14-13 02:49 PM

Been there done that...just took off Zipp carbon stem, post, and bars...got tired of seeing the logos, wanted all stealth look, and dropped a few grams in the process.

Hot, but put a 53/39 on there.

In norcal a compact is pretty standard issue for good reason.

I wouldnt call that huge but maybe you do. If so... Ok. I dont recall making a comparison between mine and anyone else's.

And... citing the rules and consistency you desire, the Mighty Internet computes your bike a NOT! Bwahaha!

jk. Your rig is nice. This whole thread is silly, but I still check every now and then to ogle some fancy bikes. Cheers.

I usually hate matte black, but damn that Parlee is hot.

PatrickGSR94 03-14-13 03:32 PM

another big fat HAWT from me on that Parlee :thumb:

Davidxvx 03-14-13 03:35 PM

Hot Parlee. Hotter without spacers and Thomson bars.

Hot Master frame, dropped hard to a serious not by the mirror, tires, ergo drops, wheels, pump... Starting with one of my grail frames and then going so wrong brings a tear to my eye.

PatrickGSR94 03-14-13 03:42 PM

Hey now I've been looking/wanting a mirror for my road bike and that one on the Colnago is pretty much my top pick in terms of mounting and mirror stability.

Davidxvx 03-14-13 03:54 PM

Rule 66.

bianchi10 03-14-13 05:49 PM

Damn I uploaded the wrong photo!!!
thanks
Fixed ;)

This must have been compensation for making you roll those pink rims. Your SS has never looked better!

Parlee is sooo hot. Only thing I don't like are the blue spacers.

I've ridden all over SF and a little bit in Marin with a 53/39 and a 13-21 cassette. I ride the same setup here in Seattle, which isn't exactly flat.

A 39 x 28 low gear is plenty for an unloaded road bike IMO.

Can't go wrong with Enves, although the previous wheelset with the pink rims wasn't too bad either.

Edonis13 03-14-13 07:45 PM

I know the tire choice won't get much love here, but I had them laying around and decided to finally use them. They are actually growing on me.
