Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just a matter of personal preference; IMO, and many others in NYC, the bike is effin' HOT! I get compliments everyday; "so STOP THE HATING"

Getting compliments when riding through Williamsburg doesn't count. The bike is hideous. The color combination is clownish and between the seat being slammed (down *and* forward) and the stem being flipped up, you're likely put in an upright riding position that's counter to the purpose of a road bike so it's a massive 'not' in terms of both aesthetics and functionality.

I'll describe it:

SS. Nondescript black frame, likely steel - think BikesDirect (no judgement - I have a BD steel beater). Yellow rims (Velocity Deep-V or similar) and red tires, hence the Ronald McDonald comments. Seat about an inch away from being completely slammed down in to the frame and set as far forward as the rails would allow. Red, puffy, gel-padded saddle. Stem (not sure if it was a 17° or 6°) flipped upwards, placing the bars at or above the saddle height.

Super Hot.

I like track-bike themed lines, with gears. I prefer a flat top-tube though. Frank the Welder makes great looking bikes.

Wheels are Gold anodized triple deep V's matching the handlebars & crankset, frame is Navy metallic aluminum, spokes are white, hubs are blue, tape is red. I just installed the selle italia seat will repost again soon.
