Thanks, however, I prefer my King Ti Cages to carbon cages. The cage was better bottle retention, it's easier to reinsert a bottle and they're the same weight as most Arundel or carbon cages. Moreover, the juxtaposition between a carbon race bike and the old school styling is pleasant.

Not knocking ya, just not something you see every day. And can't you get a Quarq with a non-SRAM branded crank arms?

After SRAM purchased Quarq, they slowly pushed out the non SRAM options. Also, I've had too many issues with Quarq units DOA.

That is true, but (and it's a very large but indeed) sadly, they're ugly. Mix good looking old school with good looking carbon and you are so right. THAT would be hot. However, as everyone else said, the bike is hot. Fortunately, it's degree of hotness outweighs the boat anchors.

Not. The white stem and spacers are so out of balance, I dont know why Trek would do this on purpose.

I actually like the white top end; looks sharp to me.

i'd be tempted to go with white tires, like Schwalbe Ultremos. An all-black crank would look good, too.
