The saddle isn't helping either. Probably comfortable and the correct one for the OP, but it is not hot.

EnzoRWD 01-29-14 10:06 AM

haha but that saddle says "Superleggera" ! I need to take it over to C&V.

Cinelli is very hot. So clean. I would prefer a more modern/slimmer saddle though.

New build- GURU Praemio "R" titanium. Zipp cockpit (bars/stem/post), Record (ergos/frt-rear derails/brakes/cassette), Stronglight Pulsion crank w/Praxis rings (52/36), Reynolds 46s. Apologies for breaking the "no seat-bag/white garage door" rule, my bad. Full build pics here: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjQsPxrM

WHOOOSSHHH... 02-03-14 06:24 PM

Not a fan of the red chain bolt rings, plastic water bottle cages, 80mm tubes or the trunk or the fact it appears to be staged next to a sub...

Still HOT!!!

rjones28 02-03-14 06:32 PM

Guru. Hot.

For the Cinelli to work for me, it needs a different, less contemporary seatpost. Either a Campy of the appropriate vintage or group, or, something like a Miche Supertype.

Yeah, hot. Kinda like the green background. What vessel is that anyhow?

count me in as an extra hot vote...black and silver done to near perfection

fried bake 02-03-14 07:29 PM

The GURU wins even while violating the staging rules. Nicely done. The Cinelli would benefit from a different photo angle; very close though

robbyville 02-03-14 07:37 PM

I'd like to see the Guru from some different angles. Plus the derailleur cable is a little long for me and somewhat distracting :) Looks like it'll be hot when we see the other angles though

See link in his post to the build pics.

It appears to be a municipal water storage tank.

Vintage campy road seatposts are too short for his setup. I know this because one of my bikes has the pictured miche instead. Coincidental, my other bike uses a setback Thomson.

SpeshulEd 02-03-14 08:11 PM

The Guru is nice.

fa63 02-03-14 08:14 PM

The Guru seems to have been staged perfectly to avoid showing off the stem erection ;)

Still a very nice looking bike.

Ding, ding ding, we have a winner! Exactly what it is. The very top of the highest point in Portland, Council Crest.

Agree about the cable. I was so excited to get it finished I neglected to change the cable length, my apology. It will be changed along with the bottle cage. It's a "placeholder" until I find the right titanium cage. I like the Kings but there are others that I'm considering. Plastic will work just fine until I find perfect set of ti.

robbyville 02-03-14 08:38 PM

Ah thanks yes very nice the guru is! Still think the derailleur cable needs to be shorter though ( heck it's not a SRAM derailleur after all :))

Ha! I'm sure you know that I'm just goofing around, stellar bike. I hope it rides as well as it looks
