I'm pretty sure they are black shifters, just then light hitting it in the picture.

I think they're the silver 105. That is what comes stock on the SL02

Looks like a full silver 105 group to me.

Your most recent bike purchase didn't come with a full frame DSLR and some fast glass?

Wouldn't need to be that fast for that photo (or fast but not full frame). Looking at the compression it's on a telephoto lens where you can get that sort of depth of field on a whole range of cameras.

    It was shot with a 100mm @ f/2.8 on a FF body.

Didn't think it looked like overly fast glass, and the telephoto compression was very clear.

    Nice photo/bike either way.

They look more like 303's, with that green tinge that the 303's have.

Strictly speaking, lens selection has nothing to do with "compression" - it's simply a matter of perspective, where the camera is in relation to the subject.

Agreed, though looking through his other photos of the bike makes me hope that he'll post some of the detail shots - it's a cool paint job: nice striping and paint flecks.

No, but from a combination of the framing/compression it's easy to tell what 35mm equiv. angle of view the photo is.

Not really, but that's probably better to leave the camera geek speak to other threads/forums.
