I get it, haven't spent too much money on it it was one of the least expensive carbon bikes they had at the time. I'm resolving some of the glaring problems as we speak. I'll post a revised shot at some point. Hope I'm not perceived as a poseur, that would suck. Just fairly new to road cycling and trying to properly enjoy the hobby. The lbs fit me on the bike like that last year but I've since flipped the stem and am working down on the spacers as I continue to get used to it this season. Probably won't get slammed but certainly better.

Poseur might have been a bit much. My first carbon bike looked similar in set up, but as I got more fit and flexible and figured out what was fast the fit evolved. You have to ride what works for you. IMO a professional fit is money well spent.

Bianchi is hot.

The bike looks very "busy" ... Loose the bag, bend the housing back ( might need replaced, if kinked took bad ) get 1 more red cage ( or just take the white one off ), peel stickers off rims ...

Bam, instant hot from not ... it will, only cost you one 44$ blackburn cage.

"Fliped & slamed" would help a lot... but, I do under stand not everyone is 20 years old ...

I'm no expert...

Here is my bike, the day I baught it off the PO. ( Note: he already took of the huge ORANGE Trek/Bontrager saddle bag & his BLUE bottle cages )

This is so funny, I was actually trying to use my Mac to make changes like this just to see how it would look but either i suck at arpeture or it's not the right program. Anyway thanks for going to the trouble. Cheers.

Love the bianchi!

2011 Carbon Synapse Frame, Ultegra 6800 11 Speed, SLK Compact Crank, Mavic Aksium wheels (I know I cheaped the wheels) This could probably fall in the budget category as well. Total build cost was $1350. Which will leave me some time to save and buy some nicer wheels. Rides like a dream.

dtrain 04-02-14 01:14 PM

It's hard to match that 'Sagan' green...might be better not to try. Otherwise I think it looks nice.

bianchi10 04-02-14 01:21 PM

IMO get rid of that green bartape. It doesn't match the bike at all.

For me, it's a not as it sits. Frame has real potential, but don't like your current set up.

Random question...I've seen colored spokes before, but they're usually around the valve to make it easy/fast to find the valve or whatever. What is the point of them if they're not by the valve?

Try a green and a white bottle cage. Just kidding, i like but agree with others about the tape, it's just a shade or so off.

My power came back on 30 min. before I needed to be at work... but yeah, just a quick ms paint hack job ... so you get an idea, of what the others where/are saying.

Um... I'm just a consumer ... but, here you go :

Bianchi - More than 125 years of history, international leadership Ph. +39.0363.3161

98koukile 04-02-14 07:46 PM

My fizik green bar tape is a spot on match but it almost never comes out in pictures. I think I want to tone down the green on my Supersix when I need to change, maybe go back to stock white.

Ha, I'll skip calling them, just wondering if anyone knew.

Point, what's the point you ask? As if there's a point to any of this....

Hmm. I'm a photog so I know colors can absorb and reflect light differently and look different in a photo than they do to the naked eye (have you ever seen a clothed eye, just wondering?) but ARE YOU SUUUUUURE? Have you asked someone else if the colors are 'a spot on match', cuz the photo looks hideous. I can't see anything else because of that green on the bars… Ask someone else to look, and then if they agree, get back to us. ;)

The old track, hand built korean frame with nagasawa lugs and hodgepodge build.

The old road rig. Mostly Italian, minus the fork/ cages/ wheels. Not staged properly

Made the leap to carbon, maybe I'll post it here if it looks good when I'm finished.
