@gc3 what bike did you have before your parlee? I can't recall what it was.

I was partial to white bikes, too. Until I bought one.

Other than a dirty ds chainstay from chainslap, I don't really think it gets much dirtier than my dark bikes.

I've settled on my next frame, it will be white/red. Not the prettiest frame, but it sure was comfy on a long test ride.

Why the H E double hockey sticks would you post an incomplete bike, not to mention the stock photo of said bike? And a TREK!? Are you kidding me... I can't... I just can't...

NOT

SpeshulEd 04-09-14 01:32 PM

Haha, we need to lighten the mood around here lately, everyone is all edgy. I'm guessing this has to do with the crappy winter and slow starting spring everyone went through this year.

You know what they say about mopeds, fat chicks, and Treks. I can't wait for the responses in this thread when I post the completed build. :D

Much better, whew. Now I'm feeling the love.

I had several nieces and nephews that loved Barney when they were growing up. I think they had every vhs tape. I despised that show. Is it still around?

Original plan is to wrap the bar in white, but I'm kind of thinking black gives it a nice balance. What do you guys think? White tape/ black hoods, or black tape/ white hoods? Got the new invisisram chain and cables, sorry it's in the small ring.

Love the wireless setup :)

White tape for sure.

Semi-HOT.

Hey, you'll at least get a response. I'm pretty sure when I posted mine it was just ignored like it never existed. I guess that means it is neither hot nor not so I shouldn't be too terribly upset.

My sister loved Barney. I couldn't stand it. I don't think it's around, but what do I know... I'd rather watch Game of Thrones or Homeland... not quite the same demographic that Barney was aiming for.

But be warned... when things get tense in BF, I'm just going to start posting Barney videos...

Just got new wheels. Only took it out for two miles to check them out quick, but they feel a lot more responsive than the stock ones.

Getting there. Need to stage better though. Remove that bag, get it in front of a white background (or at least something solid color). Also, the red bar tape... go black... it looks like it's not an exact match to the frame, which IMO, is a distraction.

I actually replaced the whole bike earlier this year.

I actually don't mind it. We will see once it is completely built though.

NOT

but I thought that's what you wanted. Staged in a manner similar to a sales brochure. You know remove any indication that someone actually rides the bike.

My current ride is two pages back in this thread. It's probably meh to your keen eye I'm sure, but I like it. Go ahead pick apart my staging, alignment of my valve stems and cleanliness of the chain.. There's also a chip in my in one of my cages... it happened while actually riding it! Don't forget to point that out.

It's going to be a 58cm so the top tube will have a huge slope like a dog taking a ****. You'll love it!

bianchi10 04-09-14 02:49 PM

Meh 58 is ok. Once you go 60, you rarely have a chance

It was a Specialized Tarmac SL3 Pro SL3, Project Black frameset with D-A 7900 components, 2011 model year.
