The frame looks odd cuz its so large, but at the same time, I know how freakishly tall you are, so I'll give it a hot.

This. "Hot or not" means "only positive comments and everyone gets a participation trophy."

Just like children in public school and sports programs these days. Wouldn't want them learning how to deal with life.

It actually is pretty old (about 14 years) and heavy (over 20 lbs). That's first gen Sora, and a threaded Cro-Mo fork. Until I changed out the horrible blue wheels, I joked that it looked like a Franz Bread truck:

Hot, but make sure the valve stems are all at 6:00 next time

some aero wheels would have been cherry. It was an upgrade from my first mountain bike.

Speaking of which, I had to get rid of it when someone told me it's what wonder woman would ride. Unfortunately, back then, we didn't have mods to save us from harsh criticism

Thanks K11. Yeah the Red is visible on the Stem/Spacers, Seat Clamp, Hubs, Ceramic Bottom Bracket and then whatever accents are on the Handlebars and Sram crank. I think it is just enough to "Pop" as you say without making it confusing. (When I first built the bike up, I used the wheels from my SL Club, and the tires are Red-Walled. People on this thread said it looked like I was going for a McDonalds sponsorship. Lol)

In addition to the red hubs on the wheels, those C38's are awesome. At like 1350 grams for the pair for just around a grand, they definitely compete against much more expensive wheels.

Personally, I find the bike a bit bland. But, I do believe it would blend better if the wheelset had no decals also. Oxymoron perhaps, but if you go bland, go all the way to build a perfect picture. Not Hot.

Yep good point, I agree. I have some black tape in the shop, but I'm too cheap / lazy to switch it out until the current tape wears out a little bit.

Ok I won't but you also should have removed the water bottle ;) Sharp looking bike, steel is real and you've got deep section rims but it all works together old and new. Can the red sticker come off the rear rim? It doesn't work so well with the black n white thing you've got going on and there's no matching one on the front rim.

I like this bike a lot, the major downfall is the mixed and matched groupset. Black 105 brakes, FD, and pedals would put it over the top.

I like the plain Jane look better than huge logos and decals, but Stan's was nice enough to give me the hoops so the least I can do is give them some free advertising.

IKR that chain ring guard is like a trash can lid, the old ones are probably props in the play Stomp by now.

Hot Soma Smoothie. Always liked that frame although I do not like the white color.
