Took some new pics. Final weight is 7.97kg. 3t post has a bit more setback than I actually need-I'm able to get my position but the saddle is mounted pretty far forward. I will probably switch to a Thomson elite 15mm setback post for a more pleasing aesthetic. Thinking about rewrapping the bars in some microtex dual black/red tape on....thoughts?

My 2007 Bianchi Virata after being mended. Only thing I would like to change is the veloce levers with chorus to match the derailleurs, but I think I like the shiny silver accents on the bike.

So now every bike goes in both threads? The Bianchi has a chance here, but its staging and exposure are no goes in the other.

Wait, I've been away for awhile, why are there two hot or not threads now?

Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense. The mods wanted to foster a bit more of a kinder, gentler feel around here and stop the occasional overly harsh tone. Some posters responded that they still wanted freedom to slam people over staging, obvious recreational fits, etc. So they (a poster or two with mod permission) started a 'new and improved' with the idea of a bit less moderator presence.

It was just for an alternative where there were some guidelines on how to properly stage your bike for review, not because we wanted to be jerks. And the reason it was shut down for a few days were due to some idiots. Anyway, seemed like people were supportive of a place where staging was important. Anyway enjoy.

So this is the improperly staged HrN thread and the other one is the properly staged HrN thread. Gotcha.

Haha, I think my OCD will prefer the properly staged thread. Of course, I guess if you really want to show off, you could properly stage it and put it in this thread just to mess with everyone.

How do you post a full size image with this software? I even uploaded it to this site (since it would not let me link to it.

Use an image hosting site like imgur (not flickr they don't allow hot linking) and copy the large jpg address to your picture then in this forum click on the image button and choose insert image from URL, paste the link and UNCHECK the box "retrieve remote file and reference locally" and that should do it.
