Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks. Ive been thinking about swapping my Nitto Noodles out for the Somas, but was concerned about the aesthetics of a compact drop bar on a lugged steel frame. Seeing how beautiful your bike turned out has encouraged me to pull the trigger.

How do you like those Time pedals? But one bottle cage? Nice build.

Thanks for the positive comments! bit of a relief! I am really happy with it!

The pedals are Look Keo Carbon Blades and thus far have been really good - maybe some doubts over the durability of the bearings. Only one cage because currently distances on this only require one - i think it looks clean too.

I lol'd.

"Not! Your stainless faucet doesn't match your wineglass rack under the cabinet or the knobs on the doors. Did you even read the first 56 pages of this thread? Plus, what's up with the retro backsplash/modern dishwasher? GTFO."

The cabinets look good, but I'm not a fan of the murdered out appliances look. I'm more of a stainless steel kind of guy. Nice setup but it's a little short of hot.

I'm giving your patience a HOT.

I could never ever wait for a bike that long unless it's a custom (do customs even take that long? It's about 12 weeks from now)

I hate waiting for anything but I have a half decent bike already. Apparently it will only be available in Sept cos it's the 2016 model so, add in shipping time etc, etc and suddenly the eta is late Oct 2015.
